Implementation Overview

As with any business, our success is dependent on your success with GuestWare. Effective planning and management of the implementation is the most important driver to success. With over 700 installations, our team understands what it takes to be successful. We try to reinforce the importance of the implementation process throughout the sales process to set the proper expectation.

All of the following factors are critical for ensuring success with implementing GuestWare:

Implementation planning actually starts during the sales/purchase process. Typically the core objectives and basic business process changes are discussed with the key department heads during the demonstration process. If this is missed or forgotten due to a long sales cycle, we recommend bringing in the key people for a demo to define the objectives and business processes before planning the implementation.

Our experienced project coordinators assist the customer with the planning and preparation of the implementation as described below:

Operational Process Review
Typically after a conference call, simple electronic forms to define objectives, processes, roles and responsibilities are completed to document the plan.
Pre-visit Remote Installation
We have learned that with the limited time on-site, there is not enough time for technical troubleshooting, therefore we ensure the system and integration is functioning before the trainer arrives.
Setup and Configuration
Typically the first day onsite the GuestWare implementation consultant works with the key champion to review the configuration settings, rules and lookup lists based on the customer objectives and business processes.
End-User Training
Online or on-site training is available to teach end users how to use to the software. Specific scenarios and workshop-style training is done for each business process for each module reports and management analysis tools.
Live Support and Monitoring
A key objective with any implementation is to go live with the system while our expert is on-site. The trainer is there to witness and assist with real, live scenarios and problems.
Technical Support and Help Desk Follow-up
Our help desk staff make proactive follow-up calls the first month to ensure things are working correctly and troubleshoot any issues.
